A Cliffside Wedding on the Oregon Coast
For Sophia and Robert, the dream was simple: say “I do” on the cliffs of the Oregon Coast with the ocean below. No grand venue, no elaborate décor, no formal dinner. They chose the beauty of God’s creation and kept the focus on the love that brought them together, with family and the open coast around them.
Their vision was a ceremony centered on family, on the covenant they were making, and on thanking God for bringing them together. Both of their families traveled across the country to be there, gathering on a Thursday.
Everyone hiked together to the ceremony spot on the cliff. The ceremony was small on purpose, with worship, scripture and personal vows that every guest could hear. It fit Sophia and Robert exactly.
Afterward everyone hiked back down, and the two of them had their first portraits as husband and wife. Then we went to a nearby beach for golden hour, and the soft light over the ocean did the rest.
It was the day they had hoped for: honest, full of joy, and set on one of the most beautiful coastlines we know. Press play on their wedding film below.
