LUVIA was born as a result of Lucas and Olivia intertwining their lives by marriage, executing their dream destination wedding themselves, and now, striving to inspire couples who want an unforgettable wedding experience; an experience lived and documented intentionally.

Olivia was born and raised in a small town in Wisconsin while Lucas grew up across the ocean, in Germany.
From a young age they both leaned into their faith in God, knowing that what He had in store for them was special. Little did they know that later in life, God would call Lucas to attend a Bible school in Olivia’s small town in Wisconsin. Those small town connections brought them to the same church, one Sunday morning. Once Olivia and Lucas met, their incredible love story began to unfold.
Over two years of varying levels of long distance, sometimes separated by state borders, oceans or continents, they continued to grow more in love with one another.
In an attempt to spend more time with Lucas when he was visiting, Olivia invited him to her photo sessions and weddings as an "assistant." Pretty quickly, he realized his gift for creative storytelling as well, but with videography to complement Olivia's photography. As one adventure led to another, it became crystal clear that this was it. They couldn't imagine any of life's future adventures apart from each other.
In December of 2022, enroute to Germany for Christmas time, Lucas (intentionally) missed their flight and ended up with hours to spend in Lisbon, Portugal. After finding the most spectacular overlook of the city and with a guitarist playing romantic melodies, Lucas proposed!
Only 4 months later, they pulled off the most incredible intimate, family-focused destination wedding in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.
